Hon. Drew Charles Takaichi

Judge Drew Takaichi was appointed to the bench in 2010. He is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, and was in private civil practice for 29 years prior to appointment.
Judge Takaichi has previously served in the civil division as a case manager and trial judge, supervising judge and direct calendar judge in the criminal law division, and direct calendar judge in the family law division.
Judge Takaichi was named the John Foley Trial Judge of the Year in 2018, and is a frequent panel member for continuing education programs for the bench and bar.
