We're proud to introduce a reimagined research experience designed specifically for California legal professionals. With an all in one search, streamlined navigation, personalized views, and faster content discovery, the new Onla Pro platform helps you find the right answers quickly without the clutter or complexity. Now let's take a look at the new user interface so you can jump right into your research. Our homepage has been streamlined to give you a more efficient workflow, faster navigation, and fewer distractions with a clean and modern layout. We've brought legal research into focus with the new central search bar, which allows for fast, intuitive search initiation. We know that when you log in to our platform, you have a specific question or task in mind, and time is of the essence. Now when you log in, you can start searching immediately across all content types in your subscription. As you start typing, you'll immediately see a list of suggested searches and content. If you see what you need in that list, click on the suggestion and get on with your research. Not seeing what you need in those suggestions? Click the search icon or hit enter to be be taken to the full list of results. Results are dynamically ranked under the all tab to bring the most relevant answers to the top. You will see the top three results from each content type on this page. Depending on your search, the most most relevant results may be a practice guide, practitioner workflow, or primary law. You can view all the results of each content type by clicking the tabs under the search bar or by clicking see all cases results, see See all practitioner results, etcetera on the All page. Once you're looking at the results for a specific content type, you'll see the option to search within results just below the content tabs. To quickly sort by date, you'll find a checkbox in the upper right of the practitioner, news, and cases results. In cases, you'll also find a show published only option. And for secondary sources, quickly narrow your results to forms only using the checkbox. For additional content type specific filters, click the blue filter search to the right of the content tabs. While the location of the filters has moved, the filters themselves have not changed. Note that as you switch between content types, any filters or additional search terms you have used will be reset. Going back to the home page, just below the search bar, you'll see a list of any CEB secondary sources you favorited, your recent search and view history, alongside the latest legal news. To favorite a secondary source, you can either click Customize Your Favorites or click Secondary Sources at the top. Either way, you'll be taken to the new secondary sources landing page, where you will find all our titles organized by practice area. You can click Expand All above the practice area boxes to see every title available under your plan. Or you can expand one practice area at a time. When you hover over a title, you will see a star appear to the left of that title. Click the star to favorite that title. That title will now appear at the top of your secondary source's landing page and on your home page. To unfavorite the title, hover over the favorited title, then click the red delete icon that appears to the left. That title will no longer be listed as a favorite. To customize the news feed that appears in your home page and on your news landing page, Click customize your news feed. You'll be taken to your personal account settings where you can check the practice areas you are most interested in. Once saved, your home page news feed will only show articles from those practice areas. Using the avatar in the upper right corner of any page, you can access and update this list of practice areas along with your personal information, MCLE information, and firm or organization information. This is also where you can find your current plans and purchases, your invoices and payments, and your billing and shipping information. While we've designed the new search function to streamline your experience on the platform, there may be times where it makes more sense to browser content for your answer. We've designed new landing pages for key content to make browsing easier. As you saw before, we've redesigned our secondary sources landing page to put all your accessible titles in view with less scrolling. On each of the primary law landing pages, we've clearly listed out which cases, statutes, and rules are included in our database. Just like before, when you find something useful, you can copy with cite. Highlight the relevant text and select whether you want the citation to appear according to the California style rules or the standard style rules, meaning the blue book or federal style. Click copy, then simply paste into any document or email. The selected text and style citation will appear. Another great way to save or share your research is by printing what you've found. The print icon is still located in the upper right corner of each page. For secondary sources, it will give you the option to print the entire chapter or a custom selection before taking you to the browser print window. Utilize the bookmark feature to easily return to the content later. If you're not at the top of a page, click back to top, then click the bookmark icon in the upper right corner next to the profile avatar. You can also find your full search and view history by clicking the history icon in this corner. To access our learning platform, click the navigation menu in the upper left corner next to CEB Onlaw Pro and select Learning Once there, it should look and feel very familiar The main difference you'll see is when you search for courses. Like on the new research platform, the filters are at the top of the results. When you are browsing courses under the CLE Catalog tab, however, the filters are still along the left side. More modern and intuitive, this update puts the content you rely on front and center with fewer clicks and more clarity while removing inefficiencies that slow you down. Whether you're a solo attorney or part of a larger team, you'll immediately notice how quickly and easily you get to the right answer. Want a closer look at the new platform?
