Suzanne Varco is Varco & Rosenbaum Environmental Law Group’s managing partner. Her practice includes brownfield redevelopment throughout California; CEQA compliance and litigation; hazardous waste mitigation and remediation; facilitating real estate transactions involving environmental issues; regulatory compliance and enforcement issues; and environmental cost recovery through available grant programs and environmental indemnity agreements Ms. Varco received her BA from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. She has been practicing in San Diego for over 30 years, 25 of which have been devoted to environmental law. Ms. Varco is the former chair of the Site Assessment and Mitigation Steering Committee for the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health; is the past president of San Diego Environmental Professionals; is a board member of Lambda Alpha, a land economics fraternity; and is the current chair of the Horton Plaza Theatre Foundation.
