Jennifer McGibbons is a founding partner of Sullivan, McGibbons, Crickard & Associates LLP. She provides the Firm’s clients advice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate, and charitable planning. Prior to forming Sullivan, McGibbons, Crickard & Associates, Ms. McGibbons practiced at Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Charney LLP, and at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, in San Diego. Ms. McGibbons received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1995, and her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2001. She is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the California State Bar. Ms. McGibbons has given numerous presentations on estate and trust topics for various organizations, including the American Bar Association, California Lawyers Association, North County Estate Planning Council of San Diego, San Diego Estate Planning Council, San Francisco Estate Planning Council, and CEB. She is also actively involved in the San Diego Community. Ms. McGibbons is a member of the California State Bar Association (Trusts & Estates Section), the San Diego County Bar Association, and the North County Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation Executive Committee, and the Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas Advisory Council, of which she has been the Chair since 2021.
Jeremy B. Crickard

Jeremy Crickard is a partner of Sullivan, McGibbons, Crickard & Associates, LLP. His practice focuses on counseling families, business owners, and successful individuals in all areas of estate planning. For more than two decades, Mr. Crickard has advised his clients on sophisticated family wealth and transfer tax planning, complex trust and probate administrations, business succession planning, fiduciary representation, the resolution of Federal estate and gift tax audits, and charitable planned giving. Mr. Crickard received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School after graduating from Williams College. He began his practice at the San Diego law firm of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps, LLP, where he started as a summer associate and became a partner. Prior to joining Sullivan, McGibbons, Crickard & Associates, LLP, Mr. Crickard was a partner with the global private client firm of Withers LLP and its US partnership Withers Bergman LLP, where he served as the Regional Division Leader for the US Private Client and Tax team. Mr. Crickard is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California. He is also a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Crickard has been recognized by his peers for his expertise in estate planning, including being named as a Top 10 San Diego Super Lawyer in 2017 and 2025; a Top 50 San Diego Super Lawyer in 2015 to 2019 and 2024 to 2025; Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” for Trusts and Estates in San Diego for 2022 and 2024; and as a ranked attorney in Chambers High Net Worth for Private Wealth Law – Southern California from 2021 to2025.
