SLM Law, APC is led by Silva L. Megerditchian, a trusted trial attorney in Los Angeles. She has more than 17 years experience in virtually all aspects of criminal law. As President and CEO of SLM Law, APC and a former Deputy Public Defender, there is very little Ms. Megerditchian has not seen in the criminal defense world. She has thousands of cases under her belt and an extensive track record of success in federal and State casework. Ms. Megerditchian represents children and adults who have been arrested whether for state or federal charges. Ms. Megerditchian graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2007. She balanced a career as a prominent radio producer while chasing her dream of becoming a lawyer. While in law school, Ms. Megerditchian excelled in the prestigious Moot Court program, where she competed in advocacy competitions all over the United States. She began her legal career as a Senior Law Clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, where she realized defense work was her passion. Ms. Megerditchian joined the Los Angeles Public Defender's Office in 2007; then started her own practice, SLM Law in 2012. Ms. Megerditchian has done local and national media. She has represented high profile adults and children who have been arrested. Ms. Megerditchian is a frequent contributor to Court TV, NewsNation; NBC LA; and ABC LA. She has been quoted in many national papers including Fox News, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Yahoo News and Bravo.
