Joseph Peter Mascovich

Joe Mascovich has specialized in appellate practice for more than 35 years. His practice includes the California appellate courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mascovich is a certified specialist in appellate law by the California State Bar, Board of Legal Specialization and a longtime member of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Mr. Mascovich graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Law in 1980. He has specialized in appellate law since the mid-1980s and has handled appeals in all the California appellate courts, the Ninth Circuit, and several states. Mr. Mascovich is a certified specialist in Appellate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a longtime member and past-president of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Mr. Mascovich has been a Super Lawyer in appellate practice for more than 20 years. He is also a longtime member and past-president of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. His other activities include serving for many years as a practitioner-advisor for the Appellate Advocacy course at Berkeley Law.
