Ms.Ovando is a founding partner of Ovando Bowen LLP. While in undergraduate school, she worked for the Long Beach Courthouse Self-Help Center. There, she learned about Family law and Landlord-Tenant law. Ms. Ovando thoroughly enjoyed helping clients with their cases, which led her to switch from applying to Ph.D./Psy.D. programs to J.D. programs. After passing the California Bar, she worked at a small firm in Orange County where she practiced Personal Injury, Bankruptcy and Employment law. Ms. Ovando is an active Member of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association, CAALA, Association of Business Trial Lawyers Orange County, Business Relationship Alliance, OC Hispanic Bar Association, and National Latina Business Women Association.
