Judge
Judge Daniel Juarez was appointed the bench of the Los Angeles County Superior Court by former Governor Jerry Brown in 2013. Judge Juarez graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Political Science and Spanish Literature. He then earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1992. After law school, Judge Juarez became an attorney at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Starting in 1995, he practiced as an associate managing attorney for Protection and Advocacy, Inc. for ten years. From 2005 until his appointment in 2013, Judge Juarez served as a state administrative law judge for California’s Office of Administrative Hearings.
