Hojoon Josh Ji

Josh Ji is a member of Latham’s Litigation & Trial group, specializing in Complex Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation. His practice focuses on handling breach of contract, business tort, trademark, and trade secret litigation in federal and California courts. Mr. Ji graduated, with honors, from the UC Irvine School of Law, where he was co-Editor in Chief of the Law Review, a teaching assistant for the Lawyering Skills program, and a research assistant to Vice Dean Christopher Whytock. He also received the Faculty Award for obtaining the highest grade in the Civil Procedure course during law school. Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Ji served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Josephine L. Staton, US District Judge for the Central District of California. Mr. Ji currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Bar Association. He previously chaired the OCBA International Law Section, served as President of the OC Korean American Bar Association, and was a Governing Council member for the UCI Law Alumni Association. Mr. Ji speaks on panels, publishes articles, and his law review note has been cited by American Jurisprudence (Am. Jur.), and the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
