Jaime Herren is a seasoned trial attorney, which is her second career after working as a rocket scientist with NASA on the main engines of the Space Shuttle. She began her legal career in patent litigation and developed a specialty niche in resolving complex trust disputes and trust litigation. Ms. Herren graduated twice over from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor and Masters in Mechanical Engineering, the latter within the specialty of Thermal Science and Combustion. She graduate, cum laude, from University of San Francisco School of Law. Ms. Herren has practiced in both boutique and big law across the State of California and litigated in eleven additional states. Ms. Herren has always been active in California's legal community, from serving as chair of the Litigation Section of the Contra Costa Bar Association for six years to serving on the Trust & Estates Executive Committe of the California Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Cambridge Law Forum for Trust Litigation; on leaders with the RPTE Section of the American Bar Association; a member of the Judicial Evaluation Nomination Committe for Contra Costa County; as well as an active member of local bar associations.
