Nicole R. Plottel
Managing Partner
Nicole R. Plottel is one of few dually certified Specialists in Elder Law as well as Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law. She focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and elder law with an emphasis in public benefits planning. Ms. Plottel widely serves all rural counties in the North State and beyond. Ms. Plottel became a partner with Neil A. Harris in 2011, after having worked with him since 2007 in the same specialty of law. She graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2006. Ms. Plottel has volunteered on the Incapacity Committee of the Trusts & Estates Executive Committee (TEXCOM) of the California Lawyers Association since 2008. She has served as an exam drafter and grader for the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF), and as a past Board member for the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Northern California Chapter. Ms. Plottel has also served as a Speaker for the Educating Seniors Project sponsored by the Trust & Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association.
