Following 10 years of practice with large firms, Robert Fish is currently practicing with a boutique IP firm in Irvine, California. Fish IP Law mostly handles matters in southern California, but has clients throughout the United States, as well as China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Mr. Fish has been an IP attorney for almost 35 years, mostly focusing on patent prosecution and litigation. He has a very broad science background, from chemistry, biology, and medicine, to software and mechanical engineering. Mr. Fish is the author of several books, including “White Space Patenting,” “Green Fields Patenting,” and “Patenting Tools and Tricks,” as well as the “Patent Beast” Comics. He has taught patent drafting at the University of California, Irvine, and trained numerous attorneys and agents.
