James Eischen, Jr. is considered a national expert in cash/innovative healthcare practice design and compliance solutions for healthcare practices offering services beyond public or private healthcare plan coverage. He engages in healthcare regulatory-guided business planning for a variety of state, regional, and national healthcare enterprises. Mr. Eischen graduated from UC Davis Law School (King Hall) in 1987. After practicing with well-regarded local and national law firms, he resumed boutique law practice handling a variety of healthcare regulatory compliance and business planning projects throughout the US in 2019 as Eischen Law Office. Mr. Eischen is nationally recognized as a speaker, educator, and attorney in healthcare for over 15 years, with an expertise in innovative healthcare services compliance. He authored the “California Medical Association” (CMA) chapter on cash healthcare for the CMA physician legal desk book. Mr. Eischen also frequently lectures on professional burnout avoidance as a volunteer for the California State Bar and for other organizations. He has chaired the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) & Medicine Section since 2021, and is also active with the SDCBA attorney wellness subcommittee, diversity education committees, and leadership academy committee.
