Steve Stafford is a partner with the California law firm of Brown & Streza LLP, which provides integrated business, estate planning, succession planning, and income planning for business owners and high-net-worth families. He serves as outside general counsel and advises closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, and real estate investors across the state of California through all phases of a business, from formation to exit. Mr. Stafford received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Chapman University School of Law. Prior to joining Brown & Streza LLP in 2007, he was a litigation attorney at Gordon & Rees LLP from 2003 to 2007. Mr. Stafford was selected for inclusion on the 2023 Southern California Super Lawyers list by the publishers of Los Angeles magazine and The Journal for Law & Politics magazine. He was also recognized as a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers from 2009 to 2012.
