Barron Weinstein has practiced in the area of insurance coverage exclusively for more than 30 years, representing only policyholders in complex disputes with insurers. He has advised clients, mediated disputes, and litigated coverage matters against insurers and brokers. Mr. Weinstein received his J.D. at University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1975, and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1971. He practiced at the San Francisco firms Farella Braun & Martel and Weinstein & Buffington before joining the office of the San Francisco City Attorney, where he served as Chief of Complex Litigation. Mr. Weinstein then co-founded the firm Meredith, Weinstein & Numbers, which now is Weinstein & Numbers LLP. He has tried cases and argued on appeal in state and federal courts. Mr. Weinstein has lectured extensively and published on issues of insurance coverage. He is a Fellow in the American College of Coverage Counsel; has been selected to be on the list of Northern California Superlawyers since 2010; and was selected for the list of Top 100 Northern California Superlawyers in 2016.
