Daphne P. Bishop

Daphne Pierre Bishop is a seasoned workplace investigator and employment attorney with more than 20 years of experience advising and representing employers in a wide range of industries, including entertainment, tech, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. She is the founder of Bishop Workplace Investigations, a law firm dedicated exclusively to conducting high-quality, neutral investigations into complex workplace issues such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying, and other forms of misconduct. Ms. Bishop’s earlier legal career includes over 15 years representing and advising employers in private practice at labor and employment firms recognized throughout the country, including at a global law firm with a consistently top-ranked labor and employment department; one of the nation’s largest boutique firms dedicated exclusively to labor and employment law; and a management-side boutique firm serving clients throughout California. She is a graduate of Yale College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Ms. Bishop earned her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. She holds a certificate from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and serves as faculty for the AWI Training Institute. Ms. Bishop is a leader in the California employment law community. Thompson Reuters has consistently named her as a Rising Star and Super Lawyer throughout her career. Since 2022, Ms. Bishop has been a member of the California Lawyers Association Labor and Employment Sections' Executive Committee. Her previous CEB contributions include the highly rated program on "Well-Being for Attorneys: How to Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle and Avoid Burnout."
