Timothy Sullivan handles insurance defense, insurance coverage, and bad faith cases throughout California in state and federal courts. He has also handled appeals in the California Supreme Court, the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Fresno, and in the US Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Sullivan received his BA and J.D. from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Sullivan has been selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer every year since 2008. Based on his trial experience, he was selected as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and a Fellow in the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACOCC).
Mr. Sullivan has written chapters on liability insurance, property insurance, title insurance, trial practice, and bad faith for seven treatises published by CEB, and was the Consulting Editor for CEB's treatise on property insurance. He has served as a member of the California State Bar CEB Real Property Advisory Committee, and on the Executive Committee of the State Bar CEB Litigation Executive Committee. Mr. Sullivan also served as president and board member of the Fresno County Bar Association.
