Scott H Talkov

Scott Talkov is the Founder and Managing Partner at Talkov Law, where the focus of his real estate practice is on partition actions. Talkov Law has helped 100s of clients end co-ownership disputes by forcing the sale of jointly owned property. With experience handling over 150 partition actions, Talkov Law is California's preeminent law firm for all things related to partition actions.

Mr. Talkov graduated, cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2009. He then began his career as a real estate attorney by working at one of the oldest real estate law firms in the Inland Empire, where he was eventually made a Partner in the firm. After 11 years there, Mr. Talkov founded Talkov Law to better serve the community's real estate needs. Talkov Law has since grown to include Mr. Talkov and four other attorneys, as well as four full-time staff members.

Mr. Talkov has presented on the Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act (now the Partition of Real Property Act) for CEB in 2022. He has also been published in the Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal of the American Bar Association, California Real Property Journal of the State Bar of California, and Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine. Mr. Talkov has been featured on various news outlets, including CNN, FoxNews, ABC 7, KCAL 9, and the Los Angeles Times.
