Merwyn Jay Miller

Merv Miller has been in practice for over 40 years. He specializes in Estate Planning, Estate Settlement, and Elder Law. Mr. Miller is a certified Specialist in the field of Estate Planning, Probate, & Trusts.

Mr. Miller earned his law degree at California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, and holds a Masters degree in Financial Services, with an emphasis in Estate Planning. After being employed as an associate attorney for the first three years out of Law School, he founded his North County firm in 1978, which has stood the test of time for over 40 years.

Mr. Miller co-authored the legal text book, “Understanding California Real Estate Law,” and wrote legal columns for many local papers, including the largest regional newspaper in San Diego County, North County Times (formerly Blade Citizen), and professional journals for 15 years. He has appeared on the “Wealth Management” television series and has been listed in “Who’s Who in American Law.” Mr. Miller is a frequent lecturer on estate planning topics, including at Continuing Legal Education, Society for Financial Service Professionals, International Association for Financial Planning, National Association of Elder Law Attorneys NorCal/SoCal Summit, and Estate Planning Council conferences.
