Mark Christopher Carlson

Mark Carlson specializes in professional liability matters within the real estate industry. He currently represents scores of real estate professionals in a wide range of matters. Mr. Carlson also represents individuals in the purchase, sale, and lease of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. He has also assists clients in building permit, zoning and other land use matters.

Mr. Carlson obtained his undergraduate degree from California Lutheran University and his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, he worked for a small boutique professional liability firm Krivis & Passovoy. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Carlson was associated with Morris, Policy & Purdy, LLP before opening his own firm Avila, Carlson & Peros, LLP. He then established Ginder, Sunderland & Carlson, LLP, which ultimately became Carlson Law Group, Inc.

Mr. Carlson is long-time contributor to the CEB Real Property Sales Transaction. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Carlson has been named as a Super Lawyer in multiple years. He has been on the Southland Regional Association of Realtors Risk Management Committee for several years and was the 2023 Chair.
