This interplay is due to the intersection between different forms of care provided by those facilities, which can span from provision for an elder's basic needs to complex medical care.

Real Property, Trusts & Estates
Code enforcement violations can be common in estate administration properties. Sometimes elderly property owners have left their home to move to a care facility, and the property remains vacant due to the homeowner maintaining an intent to return home and lacking a trusted person to handle regular needed maintenance. Sometimes issues slowly build up during the person's lifetime, as the property owner slowly becomes less and less able to handle mowing the lawn or securing the property against intrusions by unauthorized individuals. And sometimes, property owners enter into leases with tenants who themselves go on to commit code violations. In such situations, the property owner can be caught in the crossfire, potentially attempting to evict the troublesome tenant who often continues the wrongful activity as long as they are able.

Many estate planning attorneys have war stories about "creative" client distribution requests or estate plan drafting constraints.
