Jean K. Hyams

Jean Hyams is a mediator affiliated with Sequitur Resolutions and a partner with Vinick Hyams LLP, where she focuses her practice on co-counseling cases that are headed into trial.

A litigator for more than 30 years, Ms. Hyams is a founding partner of Vinick Hyams Trial Partners. Prior to VHTP, she spent fourteen years as a partner of a leading Bay Area employment law boutique, Levy Vinick Burrell Hyams LLP. Ms. Hyams holds a bachelor degree from Wellesley College in Political Science, and obtained her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley Law.

Ms. Hyams served as President of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the largest organization of plaintiff-side employment lawyers in the country. CELA honored her in 2019 with the Joe Posner Award, the organization's highest accolade. Ms. Hyams has made the Super Lawyers "Top 100" list for Northern California ten times, including in 2023.
