Hon. Pauline M. Maxwell

Judge Pauline Maxwell presides over a felony trial calendar and is currently the serving as Presiding Judge of Santa Barbara County.

Judge Maxwell graduated from UCLA School of Law and worked in civil litigation before becoming a Research Attorney for the Superior Court. Prior to the felony trial calendar, she presided over civil, family, and probate matters.

Judge Maxwell was selected as the Attorney of the Year by the Santa Barbara Women Lawyers in 2013, and in 2015 was named a Founding Mother.
