Hon. Evelio Grillo

Judge Evelio Grillo is presently assigned to the Complex Litigation Department of the Alameda County Superior Court. He has presided over more than 200 jury and court trials in civil, criminal, and family law matters. Judge Grillo’s work in the civil law & motion and civil trial departments has resulted in over 50 published appellate decisions in diverse areas, including the California CPRA, CEQA, land use and water law, attorneys’ fees, public pensions, and arbitration.
