Hon. Alesia F. Jones

Judge Alesia Jones was appointed to the bench of the Solano County Superior Court by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2008. She is assigned to the Civil Division presiding over probate of estate and trust matters.

Judge Jones earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She began her career as an associate at Long and Levit LLP, and then became a deputy city attorney for the city of Berkeley. In 1994, Judge Jones was hired to serve as an assistant city attorney for the Vallejo City Attorney’s Office, where she was practiced a wide range of complex civil litigation. In this role, she also advised many Vallejo officials and agencies before she was appointed to the bench in 2008.
