In one case I handled, a company failed to fix a dangerous condition on its property. After my client was hurt, somebody put some cones around the area, and the company started saying that the cones had been there all along. In deposition, company employees said that the cones had been there for months before the incident. Thanks to Google, I knew they were lying, and I was able to prove it. I went to Google Earth, and I pulled up all of the historical images of the area. I saw that, after the incident, you could clearly see the cones in the satellite images. However, in a photo taken 4 days before the incident, no cones were there. In fact, all of the images before the incident showed that there were never any cones there.
