While we’ve designed our search functionality to streamline your research experience, there may be times when it makes more sense to browse our content for your answer. Our content landing pages make that easier. The practitioner landing page is organized by practice area and topic. Each listed topic links to a page containing subcategories, workflows, and practitioner documents organized by resource type. Our secondary sources landing page is designed to put all your available titles in view with minimal scrolling, and allows you to make your most used titles easily accessible with favorites. For more on favoriting titles, find our Platform Introduction and Customizing Your Experience video. Click Expand All above the practice area boxes to see every title available under your plan, or expand one area at a time if you know generally what you’re looking for. The next time you return to this landing page, the same practice areas that you left expanded will remain expanded, which is handy if you’re consistently returning to the same practice area library of titles. By default, only the practice areas with titles included in your subscription will appear. To view all CEB practice areas and titles, toggle from in plan to out of plan. Although you do not have access to the full contents of the out of plan titles, noted by the lock symbol, you can view the full table of contents of that title, including all subsections. That way, you can have a clear idea if upgrading your plan to include that practice area will give you the information you need. On each of the primary law landing pages, we’ve clearly listed out which cases, statutes, rules are included in our database. Real value of finding a statute in our platform, whether by browsing or searching, is seeing everywhere that that statute has been cited in our practice guides. This puts you a mere click away from the expert analysis that we are known for. You can scroll through all the results to find what you need or you can narrow by practice area to see only the most relevant titles. We of course also give you all the cases that have cited to the statute with their TruSight flags along with the ability to filter your view by published status, court, cause of action, procedural posture, disposition, appellant’s trial court role, or year. Using the disposition and appellant’s trial court role filters are especially helpful to find cases analogous to your own. And of course, you can search within results using keywords. Finally, our news landing page allows you to read up on breaking legal news, the latest legal analysis, practice management content, and long form reporting. By default, this page will show you articles across all practice areas. To view articles related to a specific practice area, use the list along the left. To curate the articles that automatically appear on your news landing page and home page, set practice areas to customize your news. Once on your account profile page, scroll down to the practice area section and select which you are most interested in. Once saved, your news landing page will default to only showing articles from those practice areas. To temporarily view articles from all practice areas, click All Practice Areas at the top of the list. To adjust your selected practice areas, click the Edit button that appears when you hover over your practice areas. You can also adjust your preferences by using the avatar in the upper right corner of any page to access your account profile.
