Andrew Prochnow’s practice covers all aspects of real estate, including acquisition, development, leasing, financing, management, and disposition. He has developed a strong focus on shopping center purchases and sales, where he manages the many moving parts required to close complex deals and secure financing. His ability to coordinate title, survey, lender, environmental, and tenant-related issues allows clients to move from contract to closing with confidence. Each year, Mr. Prochnow negotiates and closes more than $200 million in real estate transactions across retail, industrial, office, and multi-unit residential properties. He also has extensive experience with 1031 like-kind exchanges, including multi-party transactions that require careful timing and structure of downleg and upleg transactions. Mr. Prochnow practiced business and insurance defense litigation and appellate law. He successfully resolved several multimillion-dollar disputes and argued matters before the California Courts of Appeal for both the Second and Fourth Districts. Mr. Prochnow earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and his BS from the University of Southern California.
