Roee Kaufman

Roee Kaufman is a Partner at Keystone Law Group, P.C. and a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization). Prior to joining Keystone, Roee practiced at a boutique law firm specializing in probate litigation and civil elder abuse litigation, including claims of financial and physical abuse and neglect on behalf of elders, dependent adults, and their family members. Since joining Keystone, Roee’s practice has primarily focused on trust, estate, and conservatorship litigation. To that end, Roee has represented clients in a variety of capacities in connection with probate litigation matters, including beneficiaries, creditors, trustees, personal representatives and court-appointed conservators in a variety of probate disputes, including will contests; trust contests; 850 petitions; financial elder abuse claims; actions for removal and surcharge of fiduciaries; heirship claims; and Marvin actions; and in non-litigated probate and trust administration matters. Roee has experience in all phases of litigation, from case intake through mediation, trial, and/or arbitration, and has extensive experience litigating contested law and motion matters. Roee also has appellate experience and has successfully briefed appeals both affirming and reversing trial court orders. Roee has appeared before courts throughout California, including but not limited to Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, Santa Barbara County, San Francisco County, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

Lindsey F. Munyer

Lindsey F. Munyer, a Partner at Keystone Law Group, P.C., is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization), and has an LL.M. in Taxation. She has experience litigating trust and estate matters, and is adept at handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, mediation, law and motion and trials, as well as representing fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts. Ms. Munyer has represented clients in a range of capacities including as trustees, beneficiaries, executors, creditors, heirs, and conservators, in all manner of disputes, and for estates valued in the tens of millions of dollars. She also has a background in tax planning and tax controversy. While working towards her LL.M., Ms. Munyer interned with the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel, where she successfully argued a tax deficiency case in Tax Court.

Jim Bush joined Keystone Law Group, P.C., as a partner in 2021. After graduating law school in 1981 and serving a one-year clerkship with a Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court, he became a litigator in private practice, first in Arizona and, since 1998, in California, based in North San Diego County but with matters throughout the state. Originally starting as a commercial litigator, Mr. Bush has evolved his practice over the last 20 years to focus on the litigation of trusts, estates, and probate matters, from consulting about the initial dispute through trial and appeal, when necessary. Matters on which he has worked include various due process matters; powers of attorney and powers of appointment issues; challenges to trusts and wills based upon claims of undue influence, fraud, lack of capacity, mistake, and due execution; claims of breach of fiduciary duty and/or requests to change a trustee or personal representative; demands for accountings, requests to approve accountings, and objections to accountings; other matters of trust or estate administration; conservatorship issues; requests to modify estate planning documents; distributions where there is no will or trust; and more. In addition to serving as an outside speaker on trusts and estates matters, Mr. Bush is chair of Keystone Law Group's Professional Development Committee.

Shawn S. Kerendian

Shawn Kerendian is the founder and Managing Partner of Keystone Law Group, and is a certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization). He founded Keystone to provide clients with specialized, focused, and efficient legal services in probate, trust, and estate matters. Mr. Kerendian supervises and manages a team of around 50 employees, including some of the highest regarded probate litigators in California. Mr. Kerendian received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating cum laude; and his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He has practiced in probate for practically his entire career. Mr. Kerendian is a recognized authority in probate, trust, and estate law. He has authored and spoken on various topics, including for CEB, related to his practice area, such as fiduciary litigation, trust administration, and probate procedures. Mr. Kerendian has also published articles in prestigious publications. He is an active member of several professional associations.

Monica C. Yun

Monica C. Yun is a Partner at Keystone Law Group, P.C., practicing primarily in trust and estate litigation matters. She has successfully represented trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, heirs, creditors, and conservators in connection with probate litigation and administrative matters. Ms. Yun has litigated matters concerning, without limitation, trust contests, will contests, creditor’s claims, inheritance rights, fiduciary appointments and removals, financial elder abuse claims, heirship claims, 850 petitions, and contested conservatorship issues. She has appeared before courts in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Kern County. Ms. Yun joined Keystone in March 2015 and immediately began to impress her colleagues and clients. She has demonstrated an innate ability to quickly master complex legal issues, and her colleagues have utilized her skills and abilities to contribute to many of the firm’s most challenging probate litigation matters over the past few years. As her skill set has developed, Ms. Yun began to serve as the primary handling attorney for many of the firm’s cases.
