In this program, you will learn how to recognize the signs of a potential fee dispute before it happens and how to resolve disputes without legal proceedings or malpractice claims. The panelists also discuss the status of enforcement of attorney liens against a client's eventual recovery.
This program offers effective techniques for avoiding fee disputes including the use of the State Bar fee agreement forms, the drafting of fee agreements, and managing the client relationship. The panel of experts also discuss the pros and cons of arbitration, mediation, and litigation.
