JONNA M. THOMAS
Jonna M. Thomas joined Hartog, Baer & Hand in 2011. She serves clients in the firm’s litigation, planning, and administration groups. Jonna received her LL.M. in taxation with honors from Golden Gate University in 2014, emphasizing in trusts and estates. Ms Thomas earned her Juris Doctorate with distinction from Pacific-McGeorge School of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in the same year. She was honored twice with Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in legal study and is a member of the Traynor Honor Society.
PATRICK A. KOHLMANN
Patrick A. Kohlmann, Temmerman, Cilley & Kohlmann LLP, San Jose, is a specialist certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in estate planning, trusts, and probate. Mr. Kohlmann is also a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Mr. Kohlmann practices in the areas of estate planning, business planning, trust and decedent’s estate administration, probate, elder law planning, conservatorships, and related litigation. In addition to practicing as an attorney, Mr. Kohlmann is also licensed as a CPA by the California State Board of Accountancy. His combined legal and accounting experience extends more than 19 years. Mr. Kohlmann also serves as an expert witness and consultant on a wide range of estate planning and related issues. He has also served as a judge pro tempore for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Mr. Kohlmann frequently lectures and has published a variety of articles on estate planning, probate, and trust law.

Carol A. Johnston, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Los Angeles, is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Johnston concentrates her practice in estate and tax planning for individual clients, the representation of fiduciaries, and the administration of estates and trusts. Her experience includes planning and drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts, insurance planning, premarital planning, charitable gift planning, and all aspects of estate administration and probate procedures.

Marc L. Sallus is a partner at Oldman, Cooley, Sallus, Birnberg & Coleman. His areas of practice include probate; conservatorship; litigation; and trusts. Mr. Sallus is a frequent lecturer on trusts and estates topics as well as an author. Mr. Sallus received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
