  1. How often do you update the Judicial Council Forms?

    We follow the schedule set by the Administrative Office of the Court. Generally updates are twice a year, in January and July. On occasion forms will be issued off-cycle and we make an effort to get it to our customers as soon as possible.

  2. How do the Updates Work for the Judicial Council Forms?

    After your initial purchase you will receive updates to keep you current for one full year. In most cases this will be one update. You can download your initial purchase and you will receive an email notifying you of downloadable updates.

  3. How does a subscription work?

    Accesslaw Judicial Council Forms subscriptions are automatically renewed. Near the end of a subscription period, an invoice will be sent for the next year's subscription. Prompt payment of the renewal invoice will allow for uninterrupted access.

  4. What are the System Requirements for the JCF software?

    Windows XP (SP2), Vista, Windows 7 and higher or Mac OS
    350MB Free Hard Drive Space
    Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 or above (free program from Adobe Software)

  5. If I have Adobe Acrobat Professional installed, do I need to Install Adobe Acrobat Reader to save my changes to the forms?

    No, if you already have Adobe Acrobat Professional we do not recommend installing Acrobat Reader as this could cause software conflicts and our forms will work in either software package.

  6. Do I need to have the latest Adobe Acrobat Product to use the AccessLaw Judicial Council Forms?

    We cannot guarantee our forms will work in older versions of Adobe Acrobat, our forms are tested using the latest Adobe Acrobat software. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free and can be downloaded from the Adobe Website.

  7. Why are the forms not loading from the index?

    If you have updated to the latest Adobe Reader 9.0, you may experience the problem with the forms not loading from the index. Please try the following:

    • Open Adobe Reader 9.0
    • Click Edit then select Preferences
    • Select Documents in the right side column
    • Under PDF/A Mode select Never
    • Click ok.
  8. When clicking and opening a form from the index, the index menu closes and I have to re-open the index menu to open a different form.

    This is a known issue. Please try the following:

    • Open your Adobe product,
    • Click Edit then select Preferences
    • Select Documents in the right side column
    • Uncheck Open Cross-Document links in same window
    • Click ok.
