CalDisc Cases and Codes DVD

  1. How do the Updates Work?

    CalDisc DVD is updated quarterly (four times per year) to keep you up to date on the most current information. (Our Online service is updated daily.) The disc updates are released every January, April, July, and October. After your initial Purchase, you're eligible for the updated pricing of $145.00 which also includes one-quarter's access to the AccessLaw Online Service. If you choose to skip a quarterly update and then decide to update at the next quarter the cost will be $205.00.

  2. Do I have to Update to continue using the software?

    No, the software will continue to operate normally however the information will be outdated. There is no expiration on the software at this time.

  3. Is this software available for a Server Environment with multiple users?

    Yes, this is based on a flat fee pricing basis. Please contact us for specific pricing.

  4. How long will the Online Service be active after I purchase the CalDisc?

    Your Online Service account will be active until the next disc update. One-quarter access to the AccessLaw Online Service comes free with each update.

  5. What is the difference between the CalDisc content and AccessLaw Online Service?

    The AccessLaw Online Service is updated daily with new California, U.S. Supreme Court and 9th Circuit opinions.

  6. How often do you update CalDisc?

    The disc is updated four times a year: January, April, July, and October. Each update includes new cases and codes from the prior three months.

  7. What are the system requirements for CalDisc?

    Windows XP (SP2), Windows Vista 32/64 bit, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 or 2008 DVD or CD-ROM drive 512 MHZ Intel Processor or Faster 32MB RAM Full Install 4GB Hard Drive Space Partial Install 35MB

  8. Does CalDisc work on Macintosh?

    CalDisc is not Mac compatible and is not optimized for a tablet or a smartphone.

  9. How do I use CalDisc?

  10. After installation of the CalDVD in a 64-bit system some users have experienced Folio Views not loading but instead hanging on the initial splash screen.
