DEBRA BOGAARDS

DEBRA BOGAARDS Bogaards Davis LLP, San Francisco. Ms. Bogaards specializes in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, premises liability, and elder abuse. She also serves as an arbitrator, mediator, and judge pro tem for the San Francisco and Marin County Superior Courts. Ms. Bogaards was on the faculty of Hastings College of the Law's College of Trial Advocacy. Later, Ms. Bogaards became a member of the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). Ms. Bogaards currently is in her ninth year on the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Marin. She was also inducted into the Litigation Counsel of America in 2007, a national trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than half of one percent of American lawyers. Ms. Bogaards has been a member of the U.C. Hastings Foundation Board of Trustees since 2009. She is also a new mentor and advisory member of YEARUP! Ms. Bogaards graduated from Hastings College of the Law in 1981. Thereafter, she earned a certificate in Advanced International Legal Studies from McGeorge School of Law (Salzburg, Austria) in 1983.

Kevin’s noteworthy trial work also includes several favorable appellate decisions. He has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a highly selective national organization limited to attorneys with significant civil jury trial experience. He is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University in New York.
