MARK K. HANASONO

MARK K. HANASONO was appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court in December 2013. He served as a deputy alternate public defender in the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender’s Office from 2004 until his appointment, and a deputy public defender in the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office from 2000 to 2004. Judge Hanasono was a law clerk for the Honorable Stephanie Duncan-Peters at the District of Columbia Superior Court from 1999 to 2000. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
