CEB TO ANNOUNCE FIRST ANNUAL SPIRIT OF CEB AWARDS
AT STATE BAR OF CALIFORNIA ANNUAL MEETING SAN DIEGO, CAContinuing Education of the Bar California (CEB) will announce the recipients of the first annual Spirit of CEB Awards today, in a luncheon cosponsored by CEB at the 78th Annual Meeting of the State Bar of California in San Diego. "CEB's outstanding service to the California legal community since 1947 would not have been possible without the generosity of the many attorneys who have volunteered to speak and write for CEB over the years," says CEB Director Pamela Jester. "Motivated by a desire to serve the profession and a love of teaching, they have selflessly taken time out of their busy practices and made a significant contribution to the practice of law in California. We are indebted to these attorneys and have initiated the Spirit of CEB Awards as a way to thank them for their service." The 2005 Spirit of CEB Awards are being given to 12 individuals representing seven law practice areas, all of them volunteer authors of CEB's legal publications and/or volunteer speakers at CEB's MCLE programs offered throughout California. The recipients of the 2005 Spirit of CEB Awards are: Program Speakers: Business Law: Donn Kemble, Law Office of Donn Kemble, Irvine
